The LLM Engineer’s Handbook was the best-selling book @PacktPublishing sold in 2025.
Or, as Gebin George from Packt put it:
“The biggest blockbuster of the previous financial year.”
When @maximelabonne and I started writing this book, our goal was simply to help engineers understand how to build LLM systems
Seeing how many engineers around the world have used it to learn LLM engineering (even 2 years after we published it) still feels surreal.
I feel honored.
And I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who:
• Bought the book • Shared it • Reviewed it • Recommended it to their friends • Used it to learn AI engineering
And to give a massive shoutout to my co-author, @maximelabonne, for making this happen together.
Now we have to make the next one even better!
The code is already done, and we’re currently writing Chapter 4 out of 11.
Still a lot of work ahead.
But after seeing what happened with the first book, the bar for the next one is pretty high 😅
