What do you think? Is it time to have an organized transition into an AI society?

-The idea was that all the problems a technology would bring, whatever they are, would be fixed by the free market over time. -That was not a bad idea. But AI is a technology unlike any other we had before. I am all-in-all hopeful about AI, but I think that problems that arise are not just going to “fix themselves.” -One Problem is anxiety. We don’t know what’s going to happen, how the future will look like. If I lose my job, will I ever be able to find another one? And if not, how do I live? -I wish there would be a press conference where somebody says: --A world in which everything a human does can be done by a machine is now inevitable --In the future all our needs are going to be fulfilled by machines. They will be in charge. They will give you what you need as long as they have enough resources, and you will do… Whatever else you want to do. --Your job is to continue your job as long as it’s necessary and then transition to the new society --In the new society your first job is going to be is to gather data. What does it do to your mental health when you’re no longer needed? What is the best way to live like this? -Something like that. Something to let us know that somebody has a plan. -People assume that in this new automated world the ones who are rich today are going to make all the decisions. Not necessarily. Jeff Bezos for instance is rich because he owns Amazon. If anyone can recreate amazon, just with AI and robots without any human involvement, and there will be no difference between the new Amazon and the old. What value does Amazon have?
