I’ve burned through 60% of my quota, and still haven’t managed to create a map that I feel is acceptable.
The web version of GPT-6 Pro used its built-in environment to assemble a version that looked pretty good, but once I integrated it into the real game world map and camera, it was an absolute disaster—repetitive feel, seams, trypophobia, huge gaps, unreasonable streams, internal collisions…
I studied the map textures from Potato Brothers: just solid colors + small decorations + edge masks. The advantages are obvious—the art requirements are extremely low—but the disadvantages are equally glaring.
Desperately seeking some silver bullets here.
