ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini: how do you decide which one to use?

I was trying to make a simple cheat sheet for people who are overwhelmed by all the AI options. My basic takeaway is that there probably isn’t one universal winner. I’d roughly think of it as: Claude for deeper writing/document-heavy work ChatGPT as the general-purpose option Gemini if Google integration matters a lot to you But I’m curious how this holds up against people actually using all three regularly. What tasks have you found each one genuinely better at? I’d especially be interested in examples where one clearly failed and another worked.
