This guy flew 1.5 hours to take an interview candidate + his wife out to dinner. Then handed the same candidate a 7-page doc (read: love letter) about his life

That’s how @tankots hires (ik this sounds like one of those hiring calls which feels like a linkedin post writing itself but he literally said this)

Earlier this week I had a chance to meet and listen to his mental models on a number of counts - evolving role as a founder, hiring decisions and growth as a distribution lever.

As someone who uses @WisprFlow everyday, the customer love the co has is no surprise to me. But how do they repeatedly nail going viral? Over and over

He summed it up in one sentence - “Growth isnt a team at Wispr Flow. It’s what the co does” And ig I understand - at the core of every tool getting social media chatter is a solid product which is why people are drawn to it in the first place. Which is why even content that influencers make about wispr flow is made with a spark in their eyes because they actually enjoy using it

As someone who does content consulting for a lot of brands, this has actually changed my POV to help not just structure 0→1 brand campaigns but even the ones for bigger cos going from 1→100

This has reinforced my belief in attending events which actually broaden my own horizons

PS - not sponsored I genuinely love wispr flow, use it religiously
