The hub, which circulates temperature\-controlled water through the mattress cover to help deliver a better night’s sleep, is now 20 percent faster at making temperature adjustments\. The Pod 6’s health and sleep tracking capabilities have also been upgraded with additional sensors\. While last year’s Pod 5 featured two biometric sensors integrated into the mattress cover, the Pod 6 increases that to 18 sensors\. It can track health metrics like heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, sleep stages, and detect snoring for two individuals whether they’re sleeping next to each other or on opposite sides of the bed\. The system is also smart enough to distinguish between adults, children, and pets\.
