Today marks the third week since I left my job, and it’s the first time I’ve paid social insurance for myself! Drawing on the AI practical experience I’ve accumulated in the past + the efficiency boost from the Grok bot @bot, as well as the support from friends, my Twitter followers have shot up from nearly 0 to breaking through 3,300 in no time, Douyin has gone from 90k followers to surpassing 100k+, and revenue is showing solid growth momentum too—this month’s studio revenue has broken into six figures, which feels like I’ve finally gotten a foothold through hard work. Of course, starting a business is never smooth sailing; there are still plenty of challenges and hurdles ahead to tackle.
Yesterday, I was also at the bank stamping and signing away like crazy, which took 2 hours, to open the company’s bank account—now we can handle business-to-business transfers going forward.
Lately, a lot of friends have been asking me what kind of business I’m doing and if I’m planning to set up a one-person company OPC.
So I’ll just lay it out openly here—my current situation and thoughts. I think OPC is probably something of a false proposition. It’s tough to achieve big things with an OPC. From my past life experiences, I’ve always believed that a Great idea <<< Great team, so my current business mainly takes the form of small-team collaborations, taking on corporate AI training gigs and self-media video commercial deals, while also hustling to develop my own Agent product (keeping it under wraps for now). Friends in need, feel free to reach out and chat more.
