Since I installed OpenClaw 4 months ago I have spent over $10k on tokens via OpenRouter. Mostly for coding tasks for my small business but also to build a custom OpenClaw dashboard and get help with a variety of financial and legal questions. Today I have 35 million input tokens, 600K output, and 81 million cached. Whenever possible I use low cost models like Gemini Flash 3.5 or GPT 5.6 Luna. But more often than not they end up being incapable of working with a complex codebase, so I switch to Sonet, Opus, or GPT 5.6 Terra/Sol. Is there anything I can do to bring the cost down?
