**London, U. K., 20 October 2026 –**The PyTorch Foundation, the vendor-neutral home for the open source intelligence layer, is announcing today that Nscale has joined as a Platinum member. Nscale is a full-stack AI cloud platform, bringing together power, data centers, compute and software in one vertically integrated platform.

Nscale first came to the PyTorch Foundation’s project ecosystem through Ray, the open-source framework for distributed computing and scaling AI workloads. Following Nscale’s planned acquisition of Anyscale, the company behind Ray, Nscale has committed to continuing investment in Ray’s development and its contributor community, building on Ray’s governance under the Foundation since the project joined in October 2025.

As a platinum member, Nscale is granted one seat to the PyTorch Foundation Governing Board. The Board sets policy through our bylaws, mission and vision statements, describing the overarching scope of foundation initiatives, technical vision, and direction.

We’re happy to welcome Nick Jones to our board. Nick is VP of Cloud Native Platform Engineering at Nscale, where he leads engineering strategy for its high-performance GPU cloud. He brings more than 15 years’ experience across cloud-native infrastructure, AI and high-performance computing. Over his career, including roles at SUSE, Rancher and Mesosphere, Nick has led the design and delivery of large-scale GPU cloud platforms and contributed to open-source projects spanning Kubernetes, OpenStack and distributed systems.

We’re also pleased to welcome Eyal Lantzman, VP of AI Services at Nscale to the PyTorch Foundation’s Technical Advisory Council (TAC). At Nscale, Eyal leads the AI services stack, focused on serving and optimizing large open-weight models in production. He brings more than 20 years of experience across AI/ML platforms, cloud infrastructure and developer tooling, including previous roles at JPMorgan Chase, AWS and Microsoft, with a long-standing focus on cloud security, governance and sovereignty.
