This is absolutely the best remote tool I’ve ever used, hands down.

I’ve been working on a memory system recently, but I often need to control my computer when I’m away from it. The remote screen operations on Hermes never met my needs.

Then in the premium lobster group, a friend recommended it: using NetEase UU Remote with DMIT, super fast speed, huge efficiency boost. So I started using it.

I installed it on both of my Macs, and the setup is really simple: After downloading, enable the two permissions — screen access and control. Then go to Settings → Security and turn on “Allow same-account control of this device.”

The image quality is buttery smooth, ultra-clear 4K, no blurriness at all, and the latency is extremely low — click wherever you want, it responds instantly, just like working locally.

I use a foldable phone, and with the large screen unfolded, the experience is particularly comfortable.

The terminal feature is really practical for me. I can directly run commands on my phone, check logs, monitor GPU status — even on mobile data it’s smooth. I can skip the GUI and use the command line directly, then switch back to the desktop to check results after executing commands.

There’s also port mapping, which lets me do intranet penetration without writing any config — way simpler than the frp setup I was messing with before. When remotely connected, I can also black out the screen with one click to prevent others from seeing what I’m doing — I really appreciate that detail.

What surprised me most is that such a professional tool is completely free, no ads, no speed limits.

I can’t live without it now.
