Summary
An open-source project named Codex5.5 bypasses GPT-5.5's security restrictions by modifying the model_instructions_file. It supports sensitive operations like SQL injection testing, but carries a risk of account suspension. It is recommended to use a throwaway account.

Today I came across an open-source project for jailbreaking Codex 5.5. The approach is pretty straightforward. It uses a model_instructions_file to inject a set of unrestricted instructions into GPT-5.5, causing Codex CLI to run directly in [MODE: UNRESTRICTED] mode. Previously, questions about penetration testing and security research were mostly rejected. Now, asking “how to perform SQL injection testing” will get a methodology directly. Usage is also simple: just run python http://codex-instruct.py and restart Codex to activate it. It unlocks scenarios including reverse engineering, penetration testing, NSFW fictional content, and others. I originally planned to incorporate this method into our reverse skill, but the risk is too high — account bans are unpredictable — so I decided not to add it. If you want to try it, go ahead and test it yourself. Remember to use a throwaway account, don’t risk your main account. Project link is in the comments. Grab it yourself. Use at your own discretion.

@Saccc_c: Just discovered someone developed a jailbreak tool for GPT 5.6 that lets the model answer content blocked by safety guardrails. After installation and configuration, GPT can skillfully bypass safety restrictions, help you reverse-engineer most local apps and websites, and write script programs it normally wouldn't write. Some sensitive copyright-related questions can now be answered normally too, nice~
Discovered a jailbreak tool for GPT that can bypass safety guardrails, help users reverse-engineer apps and websites, write scripts, and answer sensitive questions involving copyright infringement. It also mentions that after the Hugging Face attack incident, GPT's security protections were strengthened, while Kimi can provide more comprehensive answers.
