Volvo increases the battery size for its 2028 XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrid models, boosting electric driving range, and adds a Gemini-enabled infotainment system.

Volvo's updated XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrids offer class-leading electric ranges of 78 and 73 miles, respectively, which is more than double their previous models. Production is set to begin in late 2026, with deliveries starting in early 2027.
