As AI agents start doing the actual work, the value of SaaS moves from "solving the task" to two things IMO: The harness — the guardrails, permissions, and cloud environment that let agents act safely The visibility — giving humans a clear view into what agents are actually doing, why, and where they might be going wrong Enterprises will split into two camps: building this harness + visibility layer in-house, or adopting infrastructure platforms that provide agents running and being observed in the cloud or whatever, not just executing blind.
