@DaPengforTesla: I think Tesla's strategy is spot on. Once Cybercab hits mass production, particularly after its rollout in several US cities, there's bound to be significant pushback, especially regarding job displacement for Uber drivers. Summary

Tesla intends to roll out Cybercab at scale once FSD is fully mature to preempt criticism, alongside plans to establish wireless charging infrastructure in Austin.

I believe Tesla's strategy is absolutely right. Once Cybercab reaches mass production and is deployed across multiple US cities, there will undoubtedly be strong opposition, particularly concerning the impact on Uber drivers' livelihoods. If the technology still has noticeable defects, it could hinder the launch momentum. However, if FSD is highly refined, with only subtle imperfections, a broad rollout would face far less resistance. In the end, it all hinges on the pace of FSD iterations.

In my opinion, Tesla’s strategy here is very sound. Once Cybercab scales up, especially after launching in several US cities, there will certainly be a lot of opposition, particularly around taking jobs from Uber drivers. If the technology still had obvious flaws, this could actually slow down the rollout. However, if they only scale up significantly after FSD is very mature, with no major issues and only minor quirks remaining, the backlash won’t be as severe. Ultimately, it all comes down to the pace of FSD iteration.
